The new fragrance, Sacred Groove, from the Italian perfume house The House of Oud, is the result of a collaboration between master perfumer Cristian Calabro and contemporary artist Domitilla Biondi. Biondi creates unique masterpieces from white paper using a sharp scalpel, captivating the imagination with the delicacy and elegance of her lines, as well as the purity and restraint of her work. The House of Oud Sacred Groove Eau de Parfum is as light and pristine as a sheet of white paper, which served as the inspiration for the master perfumer during the development of this aromatic composition. The fragrance’s purity and weightlessness are crafted through a harmonious blend of top notes featuring angelica root and bitter orange, accentuated by the transparent powderiness of iris blossoms at the heart of the scent. A sweet bouquet of Turkish rose and jasmine dazzles with floral splendor, while the cool restraint of lavender is highlighted by the resinous-aromatic accord of pure labdanum. The complex and multifaceted base of the perfume reveals a striking spice accent. The creamy sweetness of vanilla and tonka beans complements the spices, enhancing the woody-resinous, exotic aroma of myrrh, warm, comforting amber, and the pristine, gentle musk.
