This specialized product is designed to fix and stabilize a new hair shape. The formula is enriched with active ingredients that provide shine and elasticity to curls. The innovative composition for altering hair structure and shape is enhanced with hydrolyzed keratin and milk proteins, and is based on cysteamine hydrochloride—a component similar in nature to cystine, an amino acid found in hair that connects internal fibers with disulfide bonds. Formulations with this component are virtually harmless to hair and are used as a substitute for ammonium thioglycolate. Cysteamine, along with cystine, participates in the formation of proteins that ensure structural bonds in the hair cuticle, essentially responsible for their strength and impermeability. Cysteamine hydrochloride performs the primary function of acting as a restructuring agent. In this process, the restructuring of hair occurs through the replacement of one acid—cystine, which is the main component of the primary structural protein keratin and is responsible for strong molecular bonds. Human hair is composed of 78% of this protein. Therefore, it makes sense to consider that this procedure does not damage the hair like a traditional chemical perm, but rather, to some extent, aids in its restoration.
