The formula, based on sugar crystals, provides mechanical removal of dead skin cells, improving skin texture and supporting its natural renewal processes. Unlike salt scrubs, sugar scrubs are gentler and suitable for dry and sensitive skin, as they do not cause stinging or excessive dryness.

The rich emollient base—sweet almond oil, rice bran oil, apricot kernel oil, jojoba oil, and shea butter—creates an occlusive layer on the skin’s surface, reducing transepidermal water loss (TEWL) and aiding in the restoration of the hydrolipid barrier.
