The old nail polish should be removed from the surface of your natural nails using an acetone-based remover. Trim your natural nails, then use a wooden stick to push back the cuticle and remove the thin film (pterygium) underneath. Next, use a soft buffer to gently smooth the surface of your nails until they have a matte finish. Select press-on nails that match the size of each of your natural nails and arrange them in the correct order. Apply a small amount of glue to the inner surface of each press-on nail and spread it evenly using the bottle’s nozzle.
