The story of Light Blue Eau de Toilette by Dolce & Gabbana began with Domenico Dolce and Stefano Gabbana’s desire to capture their own memories of summer in southern Italy in a fragrance. For this project, they enlisted Olivier Cresp, a perfumer who successfully transformed the Mediterranean mood into a scent. His task was to convey not a specific place, but the feeling of a carefree day amidst the sea, sun, and salty breeze. This is why the composition does not resemble a classic floral fragrance. It is more like an olfactory snapshot of an Italian summer, which remains as relevant today as it was at the time of its creation.

Top Noteopens the composition with a light, sparkling contrast. Bellflower brings a transparent floral coolness, while lemon adds a sunny brightness.

Heart Noteis filled with soft green and floral tones. Bamboo provides a fresh air effect and a gentle coolness, while white rose and jasmine lend the composition a refined femininity with a delicate honeyed glow.

Base Notegives the fragrance a soft golden hue of amber, the noble woody dryness of cedar, and the pure intimacy of powdery musk.
