The Italian duo Dolce & Gabbana, drawing their endless inspiration from the Mediterranean island of Sicily, introduces a new original women’s fragrance named Dolce.

The name Dolce, of course, coincides with the surname of one of the designers in the creative pair, but besides, this word translates from Italian as “sweet.” Therefore, it’s no surprise that Dolce is a soft, slightly sweet scent, aimed at women who favor sensual floral compositions, modern yet with vintage accents. This can also be inferred from the bottle, which is designed in a retro style, crowned with a flower cap and adorned with a black grosgrain ribbon.

The fragrance itself is more fresh than sweet. It begins with notes of neroli and papaya flower, transitioning into amaryllis (a flower whose full bloom is recreated here using Headspace Technology). This is followed by chords of white water lily and white narcissus. The base, consisting of a combination of musks, including cashmeran, and sandalwood, completes the image, highlighting the purity of white flowers.
