A cypress grove on a late summer afternoon sets the scene for this candle. Near the tall, slender trees, the air is fresher and filled with the soft accents of their needles. It makes an evocative counterpoint to the expected evergreen fragrances.Diptyque candles require months of development and as many as ten steps to produce. Some are carried out by hand: adjusting and centering the wick after the wax has been poured, or cutting the wick to a precise height.
