Coco-glucoside is a non-ionic surfactant that can be used as a foaming agent, conditioner, or emulsifier.

It is easily utilized in organic products because it is beneficial for the skin, environmentally safe, and completely biodegradable. It contains no parabens, lauryl sulfates, sulfates, formaldehyde, or diethanolamides.

Derived from coconut oil and fruit sugars, it offers excellent dermatological compatibility with all skin types and is very gentle. According to comparative tests, it is the mildest surfactant for the skin. It is highly soluble in water, chemically stable, and not sensitive to pH changes.

Most commonly, it is used as a “foam booster” in hair and body care products. It enhances consistency and effectively removes impurities from the skin and hair. It works very well as an emulsifier, allowing substances that are insoluble or poorly soluble in water—such as plant extracts, essential oils, and aromatic oils—to combine with water.
