When to use the ADAPTIL Diffuser?

• When your dog is left home alone (experiencing issues like urination, barking, howling…)
• When your dog is afraid of various noises, such as thunderstorms or fireworks

How does it work?

In their natural environment, puppies and adult dogs exchange natural signals released into the air — pheromones. These calming signals are emitted by nursing female dogs and from glands around the ears of adult dogs. ADAPTIL provides your dog with a calming pheromone that you cannot give them: it enhances their well-being and helps them adapt to stressful situations.

When will results be visible?

Many owners start noticing results within 7 days. However, each dog is unique. Depending on the duration and severity of symptoms, improvement may take longer.

We recommend using the ADAPTIL Diffuser for at least one month.

How long should the ADAPTIL Diffuser be used?

Many dogs will benefit from continuous use of the ADAPTIL Diffuser, creating a lasting atmosphere of calm at home. Do not use the diffuser under shelves, behind curtains, doors, or furniture, as this will impede its function.

Ensure your dog’s constant comfort by using a new ADAPTIL refill monthly. For optimal results, the diffuser should be checked monthly and replaced every six months.

DO NOT use if…

• Your dog’s issues are not related to stress; the ADAPTIL Diffuser will not help.
• Your dog is improperly trained, leading to hyperactivity and excessive excitement; ADAPTIL will not help.
• Your dog suffers from a lack of environmental stimulation; ADAPTIL will not help.
• Your dog urinates indoors due to lack of training or medical reasons; ADAPTIL will not help. Consultation with a veterinarian is necessary to rule out potential medical issues.

ADAPTIL will not help and should never be used in cases of aggression towards people, other dogs, or puppies. In such cases, we strongly recommend consulting a veterinarian or a qualified animal behavior specialist.

Tips

One ADAPTIL Diffuser refill covers an area of up to 70 m². Avoid placing the diffuser under shelves, behind doors, curtains, or furniture, as this will impede its function.
