In the Turkish region of Isparta, nestled among mountains with limestone soils and cool mornings, one of the most precious ingredients in perfumery is born — the Damask rose. These roses are harvested only at dawn, when the petals are still covered in dew and retain their maximum fragrance. The flowers are then processed in copper vats, where hot steam transforms them into rose water and precious essence (requiring tons of petals to produce). This rose — deep, rich, with honeyed and slightly spicy notes — becomes the heart of Tabac Rose eau de parfum by BDK Parfums. To enhance its complexity, perfumer Julien Rasquinet enriched it with tobacco smoke, chocolate praline, plum, and spices.

Top Noteopens with the citrus freshness of Italian lemon, complemented by a rich plum accord and a subtle tingle of pink pepper.

Heart Notefully reveals the beauty of the Turkish rose — velvety, honeyed, with a spicy nuance enhanced by cinnamon. A chocolate accord envelops this bouquet with a soft sweetness reminiscent of praline.

Base Noteleaves a trail where tobacco and patchouli form a dark woody foundation with a hint of earthiness. Labdanum adds a resinous depth, creating a warm trail with a noble, slightly smoky sweetness.
