Olivier Cresp, one of the most renowned perfumers of our time, founded the brand Akro with his daughter, and each fragrance is deeply rooted in personal experience. Many of his ideas stem from his own passions, with travel holding a special place—just as strong as his love for chocolate or aromatic coffee. The Eau de Parfum East was born from this inner passion. One of Cresp’s favorite destinations is the United Arab Emirates, which he associates with the deep, rich, and mysterious scent of smoky oud. In this composition, he recreates the atmosphere of Dubai’s street markets, welcoming Arab homes, and the vibrant Eastern flair. All of this is presented through the lens of Western perfumery aesthetics—with a raspberry-leather twist and a warm amber base.

Top Note:Raspberry bursts forth with a juicy and expressive sweetness, accompanied by a slight tartness. It immediately sets a modern tone for the composition, creating a contrast with the deeper Eastern motifs.

Heart Note:The heart unfolds with smoky oud and leather, forming the rich core of the fragrance. Here, a sense of warmth emerges, reminiscent of leather goods and interiors with history.

Base Note:Ambroxan settles on the skin with a warm amber wave, anchoring the fragrance and adding a touch of softness.
